Festivals and traditions in Le Lavandou

  • The Corso Fleuri, a real tradition for the people of Le Lavandou and all visitors! Enjoy a 2-day festival in March and discover a veritable festival of colour with a parade of over twenty floats decorated with thousands of fresh flowers.
  • If you’re more interested in the sea, you can take part in the fishermen’s festival on St Peter’s Day, where you can enjoy some good fishing and meet the “pescadous”.
  • Finally, there’s the Romérage festival, held on the second weekend in September. This traditional festival is a procession punctuated by singing and folk dancing in traditional costumes.

The Lavandou market and its Provencal atmosphere

Don’t miss the Lavandou market! The Lavandou market is a place to meet, share and discover local produce. The market takes place on Thursday mornings and is one of the most beautiful markets in the Var. It’s the perfect place to sample delicious local dishes and try the best wines. It’s also a place where you can enjoy the scents of Provence: lavender, olives… Have you ever tasted lavender and Provençal honey? We recommend a visit to the market in Le Lavandou to experience it for yourself!

The Cavalière market takes place on Sunday mornings and offers organic and local produce.
